Welcome!

We created this blog so you all can connect with each other before, during and after your internship with us at Harrison and Star. We hope you will take the time to get to know one another a bit before your first day and use this as a tool to stay connected and continue your friendships after the summer is long gone.

A reminder about the logistics:

* Start date: June 14th (9:30am)
* End date: August 5th
* Monday – Thursday (you are off on Fridays)
* Location: 16 W 22nd St (between 5th and 6th avenues in Chelsea)
o 12th floor and ask for Lindsey Bunton
* Attire: A casual yet professional appearance is what we are looking for. Khakis and a polo are just fine, suits are not needed. Don't wear anything you wouldn't wear in front of your mother.

Bio: Jamie Corrao

I'm from Middletown NY, which is about an hour north of NYC. I will be spending my summer in Hoboken NJ with a friend which will make my commute to Manhattan much easier. I'm currently attending college for visual communications. Many people ask what that means and basically it's a blend of web design, graphic design, and a little bit of advertising. I cannot wait to start working with everyone and get the summer started!

Bio: Kejandra Sharpe

My name is Kejandra Sharpe and I am fortunate to be a second year intern at Harrison and Star. I am in the process of transferring institutions. I was a student at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. However, in the fall I will be at Rutgers University; Newark campus, to continue my journey in receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Moreover, my goal and aspiration is to attend graduate school and receive my Masters in this field of study. With my marketing degree I plan to venture into advertising. At the current moment I am not too stern on what type of advertising I would like to do, but having the experience in Pharmaceutical is jus guiding me one step closer to that final decision. I look forward to meeting all of you, to make 2010 internship program a great success.

Hey everyone,
My name is Laura Denby and I will be a junior at Penn State in the fall. I interned at H&S last summer and loved it! I’m a communications major at Penn State and will be studying abroad this coming fall in London at the University of Westminster. I live on Long Island with my family and will be commuting to the city this summer. I can’t wait to meet everyone and am looking forward to a great summer at Harrison and Star!
